Gopher it... ..gopher it !!

Use the controls in the grey player box to play the audio ... may not work in the latest version of Firefox 1.5.0.1

Any old Caddyshack fans out there?

Links

This is what savage does on coffee breaks, tries out new web page goodies. Todays is testing a single play and single track flash MP3 player for another project I'm on.
Yea.. if you don't hear anything within a few second.. there IS something wrong with your speakers !!!
Or.. maybe there not on ? (Strike that, player is no longer auto on load, use the controls to start the audio clip now)

What you need is a headset with microphone, like mine ... so we can have..
Skype sex ... yumm.. phone for nerds... eh
Come sit on my interface and play with my hard drive while I ping your ports and format your floppies my pretty little pentium. * licks eyebrows *

"ehem"... anyhow
You might be wondering why I don't just use a standard embedded media player like you see most places. Well, that would be so people don't have to have the quicktime or realmedia "plugins" .. or what have you, in order to listen. Basically any old browser will work with nothing extra needed. Flash is cool that way.
I don't like this one though, the MP3 streamer/player, ( player controls at bottom of post ) because it doesn't work with or have the option of autoplay=false. I can't take apart the source fl/swf file and adding the directive to the embed line doesn't do anything ( didn't think it would actually ).
I'll find something that has to be started rather than stopped and replace this one... or, quit being lazy and make my own. maybe flash client with php back.(strike as noted above)

( something.. anything.. gawd it's fucking killing me.. I have to hear it all over again every time I refresh the page...and that fucking gopher.. what was I thinking.. the nightmares I'll have for the next week ....*twitches and closes eyes...fades*.... oh... the pretty pretty nightmares.. )

So it doesn't drive y'all nutso every time you visit....but.. for now..umm ok.. the sadist in me says it's ok to drive you a little nuts for now. It plays out on it's own and ends at about 32 second as it's only te begining of the song. ( full song now loaded, without movie trailer begining)
If you don't remember Caddyshack .. am sure you know " Kenny Loggins ".
Right?.. yea... I thought so... another 80's throwback huh.... you... not Kenny
*grinz*

In any case once I either find what I want or can modify to what I want or put something together myself...get it sorted somehow to my personal felicitousness level. Maybe I'll set up some audio clips of "me".
Maybe even sing !! .. everyone needs barking dogs and a little shattering glass in there lives.... yes?

This is such a fun post! I love the dancing gopher!

I LOVE Caddyshack!!! I loved the Loggins song so much after I saw the move for the first time (sneaking up to watch late night HBO) when I was about 13...that I went out and bought the 45 record.

*Raises her freak flag a little higher* I have skype.

Skype sex... FUNNY!! Well I've tried Skype twice (two different versions two diferent PCs)... never works well for me... Could be that my bluetooth headset doesn't work well with my PC... Either that or I'm just to used to the cellphone that is permanently attached to my person ;)
